01/13 Newberry County Republican Women's Meeting Held at The Blend of Art and Coffee in Prosperity on the 2nd Monday of every month at 10:30 am. We hope to see you there!

1/16 NEWberry Committee Meeting #NEWberry (Newberry Empowering Women) meets every other Thursday from 10-11a at Genesis Hub, 1110 Main St, Newberry, SC 29108. More info at Come and be a part of something great in Newberry, SC.

01/14 Newberry GOP Monthly Meeting This is the monthly meeting of the Newberry GOP. Location is Bill & Fran's at 11746 SC-34, Newberry, SC 29108, unless otherwise specified. Thursday at 6pm.

01/14 Watercolor Cards with Kathy D. Come learn how to make five beautiful Watercolor cards with Kathy D at Coastal Strokes in Prosperity. All supplies are included...payment must be made to hold spot. The event will begin at 10am and will go until 1pm, taking a break for lunch.

01/15 January's 'Ask the Curator' Join us for the museum's one month anniversary by tuning in to our "Ask the Curator" segment on Facebook Live at 8pm!

01/16 Beginner One Stroke Petals & Leaves Class Join Coastal Strokes in Prosperity for this 10am-1pm class. It will be the first of a series of classes. All supplies are included. Payment must be made to hold spot. Don't miss out on this class spots will fill up quick!! Class size is limited. Find more info by clicking below.

01/16 Verdi's La Traviata “La Traviata” is full of twists and turns, tragedy, drama, and spine tingling arias that will have you on the edge of your seat. Now that’s an opera! Join the Newberry Opera House on Thursday at 8pm for the breathtaking show.

01/17 Balsam Range The five original members are all acoustic musicians and singers from Western North Carolina. One of the most awarded Bluegrass groups in recent memory, Balsam Range feels like home. Enjoy their spectacular show on Friday at 8pm at the Newberry Opera House.

01/18 Refunk Your Junk Join Coastal Strokes for a 3 1/2 hour workshop where you will learn how to transform your furniture from drab to fab. SPECIAL CLASS FEE is only $45.00 and all supplies are included! Bring in your own small piece of furniture to paint in class, either a small table, stool, chair or nightstand. 01/18 My Roost My Rules Class Do you love Roosters or decorate farmhouse style...then this is the class for you. Come take this 3 1/2 hr class and learn how to paint this Rooster on a pallet sign. All supplies are included...payment must be made to hold spot. Don't miss out on this class spots will fill up quick! Join Coastal Strokes at 2:30pm on Saturday.

01/18 MLK Day Parade Come and join us for the 2nd annual Martin Luther King Jr. Parade located downtown Newberry. If anyone would like to participate feel free to contact any Champion Committee member. There is no entry fee for spectators or participants. (Participants that aren’t registered by January 4th 2020 will have to pay a $5 entry fee).

01/18 Unspoken Tradition Unspoken Tradition is the voice of a new generation of Roots music that embraces the new while maintaining the traditions that make Bluegrass great. Come see them at the Newberry Opera House on Saturday at 7pm. For an enhanced experience, arrive an hour early for a beer tasting 'happy hour.'

01/18 Eugene Williams Playing at Bar Figaro on Saturday at 8pm, Eugene Williams will perform his solo ensemble for all to hear. You don't want to miss out.
