Rock Your Way Through Fall with Free Concerts!

Updated: Jan 8, 2020

Groove N' Brew Fest in Downtown Newberry is making a major transformation, and you're going to like where it's headed. What started out as a one-day event has now become a series, giving you the chance to enjoy music all throughout the season. The events feature regional bands, which vary each time in style.

The fun started on a warm Friday night, September 14th, but will go on all Fall long. The first band to take the stage for the Groove N' Brew Fall Music Series in September was Brent Lundy and Friends, a vintage southern rock band that kicked off the series strong.

Then, on September 27th, Maddie Rean performed to provide Memorial Park with some Friday night entertainment. Her country music stylings really wowed the crowd!

Most recently, Center Lane Band brought down the house with their classic rock on October 11th. Memorial Park was a party!

Don't worry, if you haven't gotten to enjoy any of these bands so far, you're not out of luck! Two more performers are waiting to show Newberry a good time this fall. On Saturday November 2nd, Black Cat Sunshine will perform from 5-8 PM in Memorial Park. Reigning as one of the top 40 in female vocals, they are ready to put on a show!

Last but not least, Carlton's Jazz Band is looking to woo you with their smooth styling on November 16th from 5-8PM. They will be performing during the Wine Walk and even a while after, so make sure to check them out!

Groove N' Brew's Fall Music Series is more than just music, it's an experience. Vendors are present for you to enjoy, too. You can try craft beer and grab a snack to enjoy while you're being entertained. Even better, all the proceeds go directly towards Downtown economic development. And if you're a business person yourself, you can snag a spot to be a vendor for the concert. To find out about the application process and vendor fee, email newberrydowntowndevelopment@gmail.com or newberrygroovenbrew.com

Come out and enjoy FREE entertainment in Memorial Park this November to support Groove N' Brew and the Newberry Downtown Development Association. Just bring a chair, take a seat, and get ready for a great show. We hope to see you there, ready to rock!
